OBJECTIVE
This symposium will focus on the practical aspects of safely operating,
monitoring and troubleshooting amine and sulfur recovery units.
FORMAT
A brief discussion of process chemistry will be
presented to lay the groundwork for an understanding of basic unit operation.
Following will be a discussion of the operating, monitoring and troubleshooting
aspects of the major equipment. Attendees’ are encouraged to bring details of
specific operating issues which will help make the symposium more relevant to
actual operations Breakout session will be used for small group discussions of
unit monitoring and troubleshooting. This gives attendees’ an opportunity to
share operating issues with others.
All attendees will receive a copy of our recently updated in-house training
manual covering amine/sulfur recovery units. In addition, attendees’ who offer
their email will also receive a summary of the symposium key learning points and
Lessons Learned dialog from an accumulation of actual operating scenarios.
